City of Henderson celebrate Winterfest

Join us December 9 – 10 for our annual Winterfest event in the Water Street District!  This year’s theme is An Old-Fashioned Christmas Delight as we focus on traditional, Dickens-esque vibes and appearances while introducing for the first time in our event’s history, an All New Evening Light Parade!

Winterfest kicks off on Friday, December 9 from 6pm to 9pm with a Tree Lighting Ceremony, a performance by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra and tons of children’s activities to keep the little ones engaged and full of holiday spirit!

The event continues on Saturday, December 10 from 12pm to 8pm with more children’s activities, Visits from Santa, Horse and Carriage rides, strolling carolers, street performers, a Gingerbread House display, our annual Festival of Trees and a Craft Bazaar.  The evening caps off with our Evening Light Parade hosted by Sunny 106.5’s Melanie and Michael that starts at 5pm in which involves all participating floats being covered in lights!  Join in the holiday spirit as we fill the Water Street District with an illuminating display, brightening everyone’s hearts and eyes with true holiday comfort and joy!
