The Van Lears to perform at Henderson Events Plaza

New country sensation brother duo The Van Lears will be playing our Henderson Events Plaza during Art Beat presented by Target on Friday, April 29th at 8pm.  There will be pre-show events starting at 5pm involving various art displays, demonstrations and local musicians.

The Van Lears consists of two brothers by the names of Andrew and Trey Bentley.  They were recently signed by EMI Music Publishing Nashville to an exclusive worldwide publishing deal.

Gary Overton, EMI EVP/GM mentioned being blown away by their vocals, musicianship and songs and signed them on the spot after being introduced by multiple number one and platinum producer Ted Hewitt.  The Van Lears are currently working on original material in Nashville.

The Department of Cultural Arts and Tourism has been privileged to present so many musical talents for this year’s Art Beat presented by Target at our Henderson Events Plaza, and having up and coming country performers like The Van Lears join those ranks is quite the honor.

The Henderson Events Plaza encompasses 2.7 acres with 60,000 square feet of programmable event space with a shaded tiered seating amphitheater with seating and overflow available for 900 people.  It was Nevada’s first public outdoor events plaza completed in 2006.
